Manuel Dias
Manuel Dias is the National Technology Officer at Microsoft Portugal.
With over 20 years of experience in technology, Manuel Dias started his career at EFACEC as an engineering software, having worked at OutSystems, where he had job functions related to engineering, product management and pre-sales. In 2011 he started working at Microsoft Portugal as a Data & AI Specialist for the corporate market. In 2018 he started working as Technical Sales Diretor in the Solutions Unit, managing a team of pre-sales highly specialized, being also the AI embassator.
Invited lecturer at NOVA IMS for Advanced Analytics, co-founder and vice president of the Data Science Portuguese Association (DSPA), Manuel is also the founder of Power BI Portugal, a technological community with over 2500 members.
With a bachelor's degree in Electronical and Computational Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, he has a master's degree in Information Systems from ISEG, having developed his thesis on the fields of Complex Sciences and Chaos Theory.
