Nuno Gama de Oliveira Pinto

Senior consultant and expert for technical assistance and external aid missions of the European Union, he is a specialist in European Affairs within the European Commission’s information networks (Europe Direct), while also teaching in Portugal at ISCTE Executive Education.

Holding a PhD in Management, with a specialization in Strategy, and a Master’s degree in European Societies and Policies, he is a researcher at the Center for International Studies (CEI‑ISCTE) and at the Portuguese Institute of International Relations (IPRI‑NOVA). He taught until 2009 at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of NOVA University Lisbon (NOVA FCSH).

Between 2002 and 2015, he was a member of the editorial board and research coordinator on European Economics for the Portuguese and Brazilian Journal of Management, published by INDEG‑ISCTE and by the Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation.

With extensive professional experience in the field of consulting, particularly in international organizations, he has held executive and management positions in several companies. He is currently vice‑president of the board of EuroDefense and a member of the advisory council of the Corporate Social Responsibility Business Association (GRACE – Responsible Companies).
