Territorial Engineer and researcher in the field of urban mobility by bicycle. She has a PhD in Transport Systems from the University of Lisbon - Instituto Superior Técnico, under the MIT Portugal programme. She was part of the team that drew up the Cycle Mobility Plan for the Municipality of Loulé, and has worked on several active mobility evaluation and monitoring studies for Lisbon City Council. She was a Visiting Scholar at Portland State University in 2017/18, where she developed skills in programming and analysing geospatial data applied to transport and active modes. She is currently a researcher at Instituto Superior Técnico (CERIS), and a member of the U-Shift laboratory.
