Postgraduate in Finance from Iscte-iul, with a degree in Management from the same institution.
He is the coordinator of the Asset Management Unit of the Risk Management Department of the Bank of Portugal and a guest lecturer at Iscte-iul and Iscte Executive Education, teaching finance subjects. He previously worked as a Financial Risk Expert at the European Central Bank.
His main professional areas are monetary policy, financial markets, risk management and financial assets.
