Ivo began his university journey with a degree in Communication and Multimedia Technologies at ISMAI. After working at several communication agencies, he decided to resume his studies and pursued a master’s degree in Art Direction at the University of Vigo.
His passion for the web led him to a path more focused on web design, which later evolved into User Experience. The focus shifted from just the aesthetic and visual aspects of websites to identifying and solving problems affecting user experience in digital products. In recent years, he has been part of several national e-commerce projects such as Sport Zone, Prozis, Dott, and Continente Online. Currently, he is the UI/UX Lead at Metyis, responsible for the UI/UX area of the e-commerce platforms of the AWWG group – Pepe Jeans, Hackett, and Façonnable.
Alongside his professional career as a Product Designer, Ivo is also a tutor in the areas of User Interface/User Experience and Digital Product Design. This is an opportunity to share knowledge and foster a community spirit among designers and all members involved in the digital field.
