José Miguel Azevedo Rodrigues

Official auditor and partner at Azevedo Rodrigues, Batalha, Costa e Associado, SROC, where he has carried out statutory audits, due diligence and various company valuations. Consultant at Protótipo, S.A. in the area of information systems, where he is manager and head of the team responsible for designing the software developed by this company, GERIR® (integrated management software – ERP) and DEFIR® (financial and tax accounting software). He is also a consultant for CBR – Consultoria e Investimentos, S.A., where he develops projects in the area of taxation and management control.

José was a non-executive director of Parpública – Participações Públicas (SGPS), S.A. between 2020 and 2024, where he chaired the respective Audit Committee.

José Azevedo Rodrigues teaches Business Project in Accounting in the Finance and Accounting degree programme and Information Systems Applications for Management in the Digital Technologies and Management degree programme, both at Iscte. He is a trainer at the Portuguese Institute of Statutory Auditors (OROC), where he was also a member of the examination board for the 2015 to 2021 ROC entrance exams. He has been teaching various training courses at other universities, polytechnic institutes, companies, and other organisations in Portugal, Angola, Cape Verde, and Mozambique.
