Director of Communication and Brand at AICEP, he is the author of several strategic works on country brand communication and the Portugal Brand. He served as AICEP's Delegate in Australia and Economic Advisor at the Embassy of Portugal in that country. He has also taught Corporate Communication and worked as a journalist in some of the leading media outlets. He holds a master's degree in Strategic Communication from Nova University of Lisbon, with a dissertation on 'Assessing the consequences of political and economic instability on Portugal's external image.
