Ricardo Torres Assunção is Secretary General of APAN (Portuguese Advertisers Association). He was born in Porto, but his professional career of over 20 years includes projects in Portugal, Angola and Denmark. Marketing, Communication and Brand Management are his passion, cemented by his time at McDonald's, Super Bock Group and DIA Portugal. Focused on delivering results in highly challenging and demanding environments, Ricardo likes to push ideas, challenge creatives and eliminate barriers to create trends and new habits in extremely broad, competitive and multicultural markets. He has been APAN's Secretary General since May 2023 and his mission is to make APAN an increasingly well-known association and a national reference in everything related to marketing and communication.
