Professor of Philosophy at the Federal University of Ouro Preto, having studied Philosophy at the University of Lisbon and at King’s College in London. He is the author of more than a dozen philosophy books, including: The Existence of God: The Essentials (2020), Elementary Logic: Reasoning, Language, and Reality (2019), All the Dreams in the World and Other Essays (2016), Philosophy Live (2011), Seven Philosophical Ideas That Everyone Should Know (2011), Think Again (2006), The Place of Logic in Philosophy (2003) and Naturalized Essentialism (2002).
