Luís Brito Elvas

PhD in Information Science and Technology and a master's degree in Integrated Decision Support Systems from ISCTE-IUL, and a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Castelo Branco. He coordinates Health Data Engineering at the Champalimaud Foundation. He is a researcher in the field of Artificial Intelligence, specialized in Smart Cities and Smart Health, having published 40 peer-reviewed scientific articles, with an h-index of 10 on Google Scholar and 500 citations. He was awarded by the Order of Engineers of Portugal with the prize for Best Internship at the regional level in 2021, and national level in 2022, the year in which he also won 3rd place in the Young Innovative Engineers competition.
