Daniel Perdigão

Academic path

He studied ITC with IBM in the ‘80s and then Business Management at Open University for four years. Later, he decided to deepen the entrepreneurship and innovation areas at Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics. He also developed several other areas of interest in diverse schools and universities, attending new courses, of which the following stand out: Design Thinking (University of Virginia), Gamification (University of Pennsylvania), Comics (California College of the Arts) and Graphic Design (CalArts - USA).

Professional Career

With a career of over 30 years in multinational companies – as analyst, consultant, project manager, account manager, business area manager or general manager, he has also developed several innovative personal projects (start-ups). He delivered over 10,000 hours of consulting for innovation and training for companies and individuals. Currently, since 2011, he manages his own company, UpSideUp (PT) and is Head of OGIN – Open Genus Innovation Network (UK), being also a Graphic Recorder and Visual Facilitator (IFVP and IAF), Member of the IFVP, Design Thinking Specialist, Certified Trainer (IEFP), Mind Maps® TLI Accredited Trainer (ThinkBuzan), NLP Master & Trainer (IANLP) and Business & Master Executive Management Coach (ECA) and Official Master Innovator (OG).
