After a demanding year of work to complete the Executive Master in Strategic Human Resources Management, I am filled with joy and pride to finally say: it’s done! Participating in this personal and professional development program was a true challenge on many levels, but without a doubt, it was a moment of great personal growth and skill development. It enabled me to evolve as an HR professional and become a strategic business partner. An unforgettable experience in itself, made even more unique by taking place during a pandemic and a State of Emergency—yet neither faculty nor students lost their motivation. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who accompanied me on this journey!
What motivated my choice was the fact that the course units are quite different from one another, yet highly complementary within our field of Human Resources. It also covers the more strategic component, which is essential for us as managers. Another differentiating factor is the faculty, which successfully combines scientific knowledge with practical experience—allowing us to take the best insights and apply them in our companies and beyond. Another positive aspect is the opportunity to build a strong networking community, both with fellow participants and with the faculty, exchanging ideas and perspectives. Without a doubt, this program is a valuable asset for us as people managers and HR professionals, as it combines the human dimension with a strategic approach that will certainly make a difference in our future roles as strategic leaders.
In September 2021, I had the opportunity to join the Executive Master in Strategic People Management and Leadership at Iscte Executive Education. This allowed me to deepen my understanding of human resources and develop both technical and relational skills that have proven extremely useful in my current role, especially considering my academic background was in financial management and auditing. Having taken on a middle management position at the Bank about three years ago, I felt the need to gain knowledge in people management and leadership. The decisive factors in choosing this Executive Master were the course content, the quality of the faculty, and the possibility of continuing my studies in this field after completing the program. This Executive Master features an outstanding faculty, which provided me with an enriching and unforgettable experience.
