Accomplished senior executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience in the global pharmaceutical sector, combining deep technical expertise with strategic vision. Recognized for a strong track record in the management of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), Finished Dosage Forms, and large-scale engineering projects. A Chemical Engineer by training (Instituto Superior Técnico – IST) and Executive MBA graduate from ISCTE Business School, he is a founding member and former President of the Portuguese Chapter of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE). His career includes key leadership roles such as Quality Director and Plant Director at Laboratórios Atral. Currently, he serves as Associate Director for Engineering at Hikma Pharmaceuticals and was elected Chair of the ISPE European Affiliate Council, contributing to the advancement of best practices and innovation across the industry.
