Pedro Albuquerque Mateus

With over 30 years of management experience, he is the CEO of Hospital Cruz Vermelha and a shareholder of Malo Clinic. He has led Malo Clinic, Hospital Lusíadas Lisboa, and the private hospitals of Grupo Lusíadas Saúde/UnitedHealth Group, and has also served as a board member at Galilei Saúde and COO of Hospital Beatriz Ângelo. He began his career at Citibank, later joining Cimpor and Sonae. An economist from Universidade Católica, he holds an Executive MBA from Iscte Executive Education and completed international training at London Business School. He is a lecturer at Iscte Executive Education, a healthcare consultant and Business Angel, and founder of EggNEST.
