José Lopes Martins

Graduated in Law from the University of Coimbra, with a degree in Hospital Administration from ENSP . He has held top positions in public hospitals and in private hospitals. He was Secretary of State for Health in the XII Government. He participated in the ministerial nominative working groups for the preparation of the National Health Service Law (1992) and the Financing Reform (1992) and was coordinator of a working group for the Gulbenkian Report "A Future for Health" (2015). He has given more than a hundred lectures and interventions in congresses and seminars. He is the author of about twenty texts published in national journals. He is a member of the Board of the Health Cluster of Portugal. He is Administrator at José de Mello Saúde.
