Rosário Antunes

Agricultural Engineer (University of Évora) with over 25 years of solid executive and technical experience in food safety and integrated production within the fruit and vegetable sector.

She is currently Quality and Food Safety Coordinator at FRUTOESTE, CRL and a member of the GLOBALG.A.P. National Technical Working Group (NTWG) Portugal.

Her career has been strongly shaped by the development of multiple research and demonstration projects in the agricultural sector, combining corporate leadership and regulatory innovation with hands-on experience through the direct management of a family-owned farm.

She was awarded the Technical Recognition Award by the Rocha Pear Producers Association and has a strong background in advanced training, as well as being a co-author of international scientific publications in the field of fruit production.
