Owner of several radio stations – SBSR.fm and MEO Sudoeste in Lisbon and Porto, Amália and Marginal in Lisbon, Nova Era and Festival in Porto–his career was shaped in different frequencies and radio groups. From the direction of iconic radio stations such as Antena 3 or the remarkable XFM, to the management of Rádio Comercial and the former Rádio Nostalgia in the Media Capital group, Luís Montez was responsible for some of the most exciting radio phenomena in Portugal in the last twenty years, such as Amália radio or SBSR.fm radio. Among the various stations he runs, there is always a melomania present, something that will not be surprising, given that he is the founder and general manager of Música no Coração, which has been operating for almost 30 years, having been a pioneer in the production and promotion of music shows in Portugal, namely in the introduction of the concept of Music Festivals as we know them, and which today is responsible for reference festivals such as Super Bock Super Rock, MEO Sudoeste, Sumol Summer Fest, Super Bock em Stock, Santa Casa Alfama or Jardins do Marquês-Oeiras Valley which had its first edition in 2021, always looking for new audiences and innovative formats.
