Joel is a PhD Candidate on Information Sciences and Technology on the topics of Decentralised Ledger Technologies and their applications in the smart city spaces, he is an IE Business School Executive MBA Graduate, an Economist, specialised in Public Policy by the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and is the Co-Chair for the IE Business Tech Board Member as well as a Adjunct Professor at IE Business School in the topics of Smart Cities, Digital Transformation and Technology.
