Currently COO /Chief Operating Officer, at Dom Pedro Hotels & Golf Collection, he was previously General Manager at the Hotel Dom Pedro Lisboa and the Marriott Praia D’El Rey Resort, in Óbidos.
ith more than 25 years of hotel management experience, he has also managed hotel properties in the center of the country: the Bussaco Palace Hotel, Curia Palace Hotel,and also Area General Manager at the Alexande de Almeida Hotels group, and developed the pre-opening and opening of the Hotel Sol Melia in Coimbra. He was a professor at the tourism and hospitality schools network from Turismo de Portugal and is a guest speaker at events and universities, on strategy, operations and management systems, revenue management and pricing, sharing his experience in the management of hotel propertiesin the luxury segment, in cities and resort destinations, including the golf sector.
Graduated in Business and Tourism Sciences from ISAG Porto, he also took courses in Hotel Management at the Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo do Porto and the Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril, the General Management Program at Cornell University (NYC / USA) and has an MBA from AESE/IESE Business School.
