Gavin Eccles
Gavin has worked across the world to make the link between Aviation and Tourism development, and, previous roles have included a C-Level position in SATA Azores Airlines aswell as Development Directorin British Airways; similarly consultancy projects for global players such as United Airlines, American Airlines and Qantas. In Portugal, Gavin has been the advisor to the Board of Visit Portugal on aviation development, as well as working on numerous projects with ANA Airports on opening international air routes to the country.
Gavin is also a Professor of Aviation at International Universities, and a regular speaker at conferences discussing how airlines, airports and tourist boards can work together to buildair connectivity and routes of strategic interest for tourism destinations.
